e-trek version 1.0 is a self guiding app interpreting Kerry's natural history and culture. Specially created for the tourist industry, this system has been designed for smart phone, tablet devices and interactive surfaces.

It enables visitors interpret local natural history and culture as a self guide or as part of an information gathering service to plan an itinerary. It uses the latest in location aware technology including Augmented Reality and Clickable or touchable visualisation.
Who is it for?
e-trek is for visitors, walkers, cyclists, kayakers, snorkellers and divers. In fact any "Amateur Naturalist" who has an interest in outdoor wildlife. The system contains a content rich encyclopaedia with stunning photographs, audio and video. Designed on a month by month basis version 1 informs you of what grows, swims, flies and walks in the natural world in Co. Kerry.

Our tailor made kiosk system is a standalone or multi kiosk/multi platform based system. It contains wifi enabled location aware tablet/s or table mounted surface device and has the ability to wirelessly connect to large display devices. It delivers locale information and is ideal for tourists who want to explore Ireland's best asset - our Natural environment!
